Hitched: Sarah & Nolan at the Hall at Fauntleroy

Finally, the very last wedding from the 60/3 post (was I temporarily insane? after looking at these images, I’m so so glad that I opened LMP back up to Sarah and Nolan for Memorial Day Weekend!!!). Sarah and Nolan flew all the way from Arizona to little old West Seattle to have their wedding at the quaint Hall at Fauntleroy. I absolutely love this venue- it has so much character with it’s cement floors, red walls, eerily fashionable schoolhouse bathroom, and unique ballroom. And a garden. They also have a garden. Sarah and Nolan met three years ago while out with their friends. He proposed after a rainy Fourth of July fireworks show with his grandmother’s diamond, which they later had Sarah’s aunt reset in a stunning modern setting (because she’s a jeweler of course!).

I just received the sweetest email from Sarah right after they saw their images:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos! You did such an amazing job, we love them so much!! We looked at them for hours last night, it was so much fun. You are so awesome, we couldn’t be happier, thank you!!

I’ve got the greatest job, yeah?

Hitched: Mary & Matt at St. Patricks Church and Tacoma Country & Golf Club

This is the second of the three weddings in the 60/3 post from the end of May- things have been crazy as always around our office so I’m a little late in getting these blogs up!! Mary and Matt met in the dorms at Notre Dame, and welcomed Mary’s family from North Dakota to Matt’s hometown of Tacoma for their wedding. The ceremony was at the galliant St. Patrick’s Parish in Tacoma, where their friends were the musicians, the ceremony was packed full of Catholic traditions, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Then off to the reception at the elegant Tacoma Country and Golf Club where the real party started!

Seattle Bride Magazine “Best Of” Soiree

As small business owners, we don’t have the softball tournaments that Starbucks employees have, the picnics that the City of Shoreline employees have, or the holiday parties that Microsoft employees have. But we do have cocktail parties, and lots of them!! Each year, some of the fabulous companies that we advertise with have a “thank you party” and invite all their advertisers. They’re so much fun- time to schmooze, reconnect, and have great cocktails and apps. This year Seattle Bride Magazine threw their annual “Best Of” party at the gorgeous and modern new Pan Pacific Hotel at the crossroads of South Lake Union/Capitol Hill/Downtown. Here are some of the pictures that we snapped with just a few of our friends (and our dorky little nametags….. )

A really off center self portrait of myself, Sheila Addleman, Nicholle’s eyeballs, and Barbie. Poor Nicholle- we kinda lost her in this one!!

Hitched: Natasha & Mike at the Hollywood Schoolhouse

This is day one of the 60/3 post… it’s been insane since then editing and looking through all the great photos from Memorial Day weekend! Natasha and Mike’s wedding was my first wedding of the weekend, and I must admit that I kinda teared up in the car on the way over. If you remember from my post their engagement shoot a bit ago, Natasha and I have been friends for a few years- we met when she was a student and I was guest-teaching at Edmonds Community College. It was wonderful taking part in her and Mike’s wedding- they are so sweet to each other, and man, the look on his face when he saw her for the first time was priceless! The bride was beautiful, the day was beautiful, and the ceremony was beautiful- what else could we have hoped for! Here is a slideshow of “a few” of my favorites :) (and if you pay attention, you’ll see me too, courtesy of one of my fabulous assistants)
